Public Art Sculpture Contest

Sponsor:  Barrington Bloomers Garden Club

Location:  Barrington, NH Town Garden. Located on the southwest corner of Rte. 125 & 9 junction. Highly trafficked intersection

Garden:   It is a 2 1/2 tiered garden, constructed with large rocks on the circumference of each tier. Measuring 20 ft. x 20ft x 3ft at its highest point.

Specifics:  Artist to design, create any form of sculpture plus install it in the town garden by May 18-20, 2013. Sculpture removal is at the discretion of the artist either in the fall of early spring.

To promote artist creation/work: BBGC will provide a link from our website BarringtonBloomers.blogspot.com to the artist website. Display name on a sign at the garden.

Entry:  Deadline date is April 10, 2013 

             Dimensions of artwork must be noted on entry.

             Please provide a self-addressed return envelope with postage if you would like the sketch/photo/CD returned.

BBGC will:  Select artwork piece on April 17, 2013. Notify artist within a week. Provide a $200.00 payment to artist towards transportation installation and removal costs.

The Barrington Bloomers Garden Club or the Town of Barrington are not liable for any theft or damage to the artwork. A signed form by the chosen artist will be required agreeing  to these stated terms.
