June 15th Scenic Nursery Raymond, NH

We had nine Barrington Bloomers for our field trip to Scenic Nursery in Raymond NH. Glenn Caron the owner gave us a tour of his beautiful grounds. He had a large assortment of trees and shrubs from small to very large.

There are six acres full of plants, trees, vegetables. and shrubs to choose from. He answered questions we had and is very knowledgeable with all the various plants. After the tour we shopped with wagons full of perenials, vegetables, annuals and even blueberry bushes, which we got a 10% discount on.

As we had a long ride we decided to stop for ice cream on our way home at the Pine Haven on Rte 125. Great end to an enjoyable evening!

Many thanks for all your efforts in making the Friends of the Barrington Public Library Plant Sale another success!
We collected $2,178.50 (including raffle ticket sales)--and your efforts helped make it such a success.

We especially thank all those Bloomers who brought in plants from their gardens to the sale, picked up plants from the Strafford Garden Club sale, donated plants from the Town Garden, helped set up Friday, and helped at the sale on Saturday.

Fellow Gardeners:
This event was a great success! In part due to local gardeners like you. This is an annual event and a way you can help support your local library and community. Please plan to contribute next year. Make a note as the summer progresses what you may dig and divide next year. Don’t think that your one or many plants don’t help as you can see above this is a big event, only because of the sum of many contributors.
