We welcomed a new member, Julie Burrows.

Nancy showed us her new sign that will be put up in our bulb gardens that were planted around town last fall. The sign displays our logo.

Two new administrative assignments: Marilyn now takes meeting notes and Paula writes thank you letters to our guest speakers.

Paula brought in an enlarged copy of our logo that she will use in making up our banner. Contact Paula if you would like to help put this together. paularoberge@metrocast.net

Town Garden Meeting

Lindy is the head of our Town Garden Committee. There will be a meeting at 6 p.m. on April 23rd at the library to plan the design of our first garden that will be built on the south corner of the intersection of Rts. 9 and 125. She reported that the town response has been very enthusiastic and that they will do the watering for the garden. A master gardener will be donating her time on this project. The meeting will also cover the materials we will need to make the garden. Anyone who is interested in coming is welcome.
It was suggested that Lindy contact Boy Scout leaders Richard Burrows and Glen Starkweather to seek their assistance with our project.

Next Meeting
Our next meeting will be at the Christmas Dove for a flower arranging demonstration. We will be able to make our own arrangement
as well—Nancy will let us know. Please meet at the Christmas Dove at 6:30 p.m. on May 21st. If you would like to make an arrangement after the demo, please bring your own container and $20. We do need a head count for this so please let me know if you will be coming and if you want to make an arrangement by May 14th. Reply to this email or call me 603.664.2747.
