Bloomers meeting notes

May sculpture for town garden installed. Meghan Samson is the featured sculptor this year. Titled : The Land That Shaped Me" Thanks to Meghan
May 26 Encaustic Workshop with Nancy Kanner at her studio in Portsmouth. 4 members attended. 
June 2 Library plant sale and Bloomers raffle. We had 3 items to raffle this year. Made $92 in raffle ticket sales. Lydia Cupp won the Big yellow chair with plant, Phyllis Lapointe won the Small chair fairy garden, and Kaethe Houst won the hanging plant from Wentworth greenhouse.
June 23 Field trip to Canterbury Shaker Village
July 8 The Blooming Farm, day lilies in Barrington on Stagecoach Rd.
Coming up
Sept 19 Annual Meeting will be held at the library.$10 dues required to be a member. We will have a speaker  before our meeting for choosing Officers for the coming year and planning our field trips and speakers.
Sam Boduch will speak about the Barrington Library Foundation. Hope you all can make it and help us plan out next years events. 
Oct we will meet at the library with a speaker from UNH co-op. subject TBD
November we will be meeting to make wreaths or kissing balls
December is our annual Christmas gathering and Yankee Swap. Always a lot of fun!
