Bloomers Meeting Notes
Sept,19- Annual  member sigh up for $10. we had 10 members in attendance. Put to vote for officers- will remain the same for this coming year. Discussed ideas for 2019. Agreed to the $200 for the garden sculpture, will be looking for new one in the spring. If anyone knows of sculptors interested please let us know.
October 17- Putting the garden to bed, speaker was Sandy O'Neal. 11 members in attendance. Great talk about preparing the garden for winter.
Sandy made suggestions for follow-up, and handed out a list of plants to cut back and those to leave alone.

November 17- Wreath making at Joann Pearson's. 4 members in attendance. Had a wonderful time making wreaths. Everyone brought different greens and berries to share. Thank you JoAnn for hosting
December 6- Annual Christmas party held at Kim Langevin. Had a wonderful meal with Kim cooking the ham and others contributing with sides, and desserts. 10 members in attendance. We had a great Yankee Swap and members brought supplies for donation to the Food Pantry. Thanks to Kim and Jeff; who made sure we all got in and out to our cars safely, for hosting.
Coming up for 2019
January- maybe Encaustics with Nancy Kanner at her studio in Portsmouth
February- speaker at the library, TBD.
There will be a meeting for putting together floral arrangements for "The Books and Blooms" in March
April- Bee Hotels class with Maureen Sawicki--and Barb Feldman
Butterfly Gardens, Hypertofas-smaller sizes, Another Berry Bog dinner.....
These are ideas that were given at the Sept meeting. If anyone has suggestions or ideas for future meetings please let us know.
