Second meeting August 1

On the agenda:
Fellow gardener (bloomers) forum! As we don't yet have a fund to pay for speakers this would be a great time to bring in photos of our gardens, pose questions about issues in your garden, etc. If you need ideas for what to do with a spot in your garden(s) this is a great time to get feedback from members of the group. Or just bring in photos as a "show and tell". Also, if you have favorite places to purchase plants, or places to visit, jot down the names so they can be added to this site or bring in a brochure/business card so they can be added to the bloomers reference book.

General meeting– deciding on dues amount for the club, the next meetings speakers' topic. We have a master gardener or the director of the Strafford County Extension Office lined up for the September and/or October meetings.

Seed swap– Since the plant swap was a huge success, and it's about that time of year when plants start to seed, there will be a seed swap (and another at the Sept. meeting). Bring up to 3 packets/baggies of seeds to exchange... you’ll go home with as many as you bring to swap! Please make note of the seed/plant name and, if possible, the color.
