Our first speaker, Jenny Roth– the designer and caretaker of the library's gardens, lead us on a walking tour as she spoke about the design and plants choices. She also handed out two very helpful handouts. 1) Tips to minimize weeding requirements. 2) Plant maintenance and notes on perennials. Both of these handouts are in the Barrington Bloomers Reference Notebook (available at each meeting). Thanks to Susan G. for contacting Jenny! A thank you note has been sent to Jenny.
The meeting continued inside with a few Q&A's for Jenny, refreshments, as well as a business meeting.
